I hope by now people would have understood that the issue is not about logic and reason. We can give them a fullproof formula for an alternative to coal, but they would still insist on coal if they could get away with it. The public needs to rise up and make a stand - we should insist on a reliable electrical network, completion of the 'whole' grid, stop electrical thefts permanently and THEN come back to the table and talk about energy needs for the state....

Do want to let you know that I have posted this on my facebook http://www.facebook.com/eric.evany?v=app_2347471856 and on my own initiative sent out 500 emails, SMS all my friends to attend this public forum (hundreds of them).

However, I left the forum disappointed as I felt the forum is more on TNB-SESB bashing rather than looking at solutions and detail, concrete plans to negotiate or work with them to come out with renewable energy sources. It is alright to be emotional and oppose but you can't be angry all the time, that energy and passion needs to be channeled into solutions. I do felt the professor on alternative energy is given too little time to talk on cost benefits comparison amongst the energy option. Too much time is given allocated into TNB-SESB dissing. What can we achieve by that? What now? Formation of task force and investors to form Independent Power Plants which is based on RE? And work with goverment or SESB? Will there ?

Use facts: scientific, socio-economic facts to substantiate why RE benefit and profit TNB more in the long run.

Look for Investors or find out more about world bank how to set up lots of Independent Renewable Energy Power Providers.Set them up, Don't just expect from the goverment. U
