I believe that currently Sabah posses one of the highest earning potential for the country Malaysia through a sustainable route which is TOURISM. Why is Sabah so FAMOUS FOR TOURISM? Even a Blind, Deaf and Dumb man could identify that it is because of the richness of Natural Beauty which the state posseses and not because of the Tall Buildings, or even Massive Shopping Malls which currently HAS NOT EXISTED in Sabah.

By implementing a Coal Power Generation Plant, wouldn't that mean destroying one of the COuntry's major sources of income (via TOURISM)? However, to be able to develop Sabah for TOURISM, the basic infrastructures must first be adressed immediately. These are of course (ENERGY, ROAD and TRANSPORTATION. Note, these mentioned basic Infrastructures are in the worst conditions when you come to think about Sabah.

The concept of 1Malaysia in this matter kind of reflects definition of it being "BENEFITING 1 PARTY" in Malaysia and not so much on the view of creating a united country.

This must come to a stop. As quoted by the above author, Stop Blowing Air and Do Something About It.

Electricity shortage in Sabah is an old old story. It appears that TNB and SESB don't forecast our electricity requirement and plan for it. Therefore, it deteriorated to the present state. Looks like it was orchestrated it to corner Sabahans into accepting the coal power plant. Worse still, many ignorant YES MEN politicians and councilors went all-out to support the coal power plant even before the EIA is out. Sabahans are friendly and tolerant but must now speak up for the sake of our STATE and our future generations. Unless you don't see a future in Sabah!!

What if TNB has already bought the coal-fired genset? What if they bluff in the EIA? What if coal supplying countries can't fulfill our requirement? The song lyrics best describes our sad plight: "How many ears must one man have before he can hear people cry"
"How many times can a man turn his head and just pretends that he doesn't see"
"How many times must a man look up before he can see the sky"
"How many deaths will it take till he knows that too many people have died"
Sabahans need not suffer more.
